LPO Improvisation Workshop with Mazz Swift

Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute awarded the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) grant funding and programmatic support to build on their instrumental music education program, for low-income and underserved students. This program is the basis for Anna’s Place NOLA’s arts-integration curriculum.

On April 8th, a workshop on improvisation was conducted for the LPO instructors in the morning by Mazz Swift. In the afternoon Ms Swift held a workshop for 23 Anna’s Place NOLA students. Thank you Carnegie Hall, the LPO and Mazz Swift for a great experience!
