There are over 1,100 homeless persons in the New Orleans area, many occupying space under the elevated interstate highway just two blocks from St. Anna’s.  Our outreach to the homeless centers around dignity and respect and includes:

  • Weekly visits, we provide a friendly smile, a listening ear, and quiet conversation and prayer for those interested
  • Personal care items
  • Snacks, coffee, donuts
