What a year it has been! COVID-19 has changed the way so many of us engage with one another and the BLM movement has called so many of us to action. During the pandemic, we at Anna’s Place NOLA could not close our doors to our community; and with the help of partners, volunteers, generous individuals, and a dedicated staff, we were able to:
- help our children and their families with COVID-19 relief in the form of food distribution and computer hardware and software for continued education.
- increase the families we serve in our food pantry from 35, to 60 adults and children.
- provide over 200 hours of arts and academic enrichment virtually and socially distanced to the children and youth in the Tremè and greater New Orleans area.
And we won’t stop there! With your help we hope to reach even more at-risk youth, families, and marginalized individuals in 2021!
