Blair Dottin-Haley is a New Orleans native, veteran vocal performer and co-founder of the #BLAIRISMS lifestyle brand. Blair and his husband, Brandon have been noted as Brand Activists because of their use of the Blairisms brand as a vehicle for promoting progressive causes and raising awareness of social justice initiatives.

As Brand Activists, the #BLAIRISMS use apparel to speak truth to power, celebrate blackness and queer identities, and shine a light on the breadth and range of Black culture. The #BLAIRISMS has been featured in the The Huffington Post, Bustle, Fashion Bomb Daily, Swerv Magazine, AfroPunk among others. Pieces from The Blairisms brand’s collection “Get In Good Trouble” celebrating late Congressman John Lewis were acquired by the National Museum of African American History and Culture, etching the brand permanently into Black History.

In 2020, the #BLAIRISMS used its platform to create a virtual space, the #SAVAGECHATSERIES, that uplifts people and celebrates the contributions of Black people to global culture. The #BLAIRISMS also created #BLAXELLENCE: A SAVAGE HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR along with other programming that features Black stories and perspectives, and seeks to improve the conditions of Black communities.

Blair has worked in politics for both the Texas and Louisiana legislatures, and in the field of education, as a teacher and National Program Operations Manager for a college access non-profit. Blair is a distinguished alumnus of Xavier University of Louisiana, and was acknowledged on its inaugural Top 40 under 40 Alumni list in 2014.

In 2016, he led the formation of the Dottin-Haley Group with his husband Brandon. The Dottin- Haley group is a consulting firm working with a variety of clients across numerous industries to develop strategic initiatives focused on community engagement and advocacy, capacity building, and strategic planning.
