Anna’s Place NOLA Awared $22,000 from EDOLA Gaudet Fund

Anna’s Place NOLA has been awarded a total of $22,000 from the EDOLA Gaudet Fund towards our youth programs. These funds will help us continue to provide round-trip transportation, meals, snacks and educational field trips to our kiddos. Frances Joseph Gaudet was born Holmesville, Pike County, Mississippi, in 1861. Her father was a former slave. She was a seamstress by profession and became a major philanthropist in New Orleans at the turn of the century. Mrs. Gaudet earned a national reputation as a prison reformer and missionary. Mrs. Gaudet dedicated her life to building alliances with people of every race and class.
