New Anne Frank Exhibit at The Dodwell House
The Anne Frank exhibit is a collaboration between the ‘Anne Frank Project’ of Loyola University, the International Anne Frank Museum and Anna’s Place NOLA.
The partnership involves multiple components including educating Anna’s Place NOLA older students on the history of Anne Frank and training them over an 8-week period in the Spring to participate as Docents for the exhibit. Students attended a class at Loyola with university students studying the history of the holocaust and Anne Frank.
Anna’s Place NOLA ‘Children’s Choir’ presented at the opening of the International Anne Frank Traveling Exhibit along with the Anna’s Place students leading tours of the exhibit as Docents in February 2024. Dr. Davis and Father Don were speakers at this event. We also shared the experience with 8 Anna’s Place NOLA students and their instructor viewed the Anne Frank play at the World War II museum.
The Anne Frank traveling exhibit has moved to the Dodwell House offering a 6 week exhibition for the community, school groups and various organizations.
Interested in seeing the exhibit?
Guided tours will be led by Anna’s Place NOLA trained docents. Open for tours April 2nd until May 19th.
Guided Tour times are Friday’s 3-5pm, Saturday’s 1 – 3pm and Sunday’s 12 – 2pm.
