We started our spring semester out strong this Tuesday! We have some exciting programs starting this spring including Electric girls and NOLA code. Electric girls will be teaching our girls the physics behind all things electric. They started out creating their own circuits and will graduate to new projects each week where they will be collaborating and creating something to take home and be proud of at the end. NOLA code is a class dedicated to teaching young minds how to work with and develop technology on their own. They will be adding tools to their tool box throughout the semester, leading up to the creation of their very own game! With rapid technological advances happening every day, this class will serve them long after they have left Anna’s Place. Our greatest hope is that these programs will peak the curiosity of our students and lay the foundation for future STEM careers!
