Anna’s Place NOLA Awarded Gaudet Grants

Our Easter season started out with the joyous news of being awarded two Gaudet Grants from the Episcopal Community Services of the Diocese of Louisiana.  The first $10,000 grant is for our summer camp program, the theme of which this year is Our Cultural Heritage – Western Africa to the Caribbean.

Entrepreneur Class

      Our Entrepreneur class is based on the Lemonade Brigade, a program taught by Beverly Brown.  Beverly is preparing 8 students from Anna’s Place NOLA to become business people by  teaching them the various aspects of business management.  They are learning marketing, finances, product development and customer service.
