Summer Camp 2016

This year our children enjoyed a very wide range of activities. Classes included Health and Nutrition (where they learned how to cook healthy foods), Physical Education and Swimming, Etiquette and Spirituality. Performance at Microsoft Store

On July 16th our kids performed at the Microsoft Store at the Lakeside Shopping Center as part of a new partnership we are developing with them. The kids from Anna’s Place NOLA had an excellent time and got to play with the games they had available after the performance.

LPO Improvisation Workshop with Mazz Swift

Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute awarded the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) grant funding and programmatic support to build on their instrumental music education program,  ___, for low-income and underserved students.  This program is the basis for Anna’s Place NOLA’s arts-integration curriculum.
